(Bangkok Post file photo)A Bruneian woman who drowned in Krabi on Wednesday was not a member of the sultanate's royal family, as speculated in some media reports, a police spokesman said on Friday. Police had checked with the Thai embassy in Banda Seri Begawan, Brunei's capital, deputy police spokesman Krissana Pattnacharoen said. The woman was identified as PG HJH Jamilah PG JJ Othman. Some media reports claimed she was a member of the Brunei royal family because of the first two letters, PG, of her name.
